    The purpose of the Salesforce Analyst role is to support the YPO Membership Department with data organization and regular and ad hoc analysis of membership information utilizing Salesforce and MS Excel.  This is a contract role for 6-9+ months, length of contract will be dependent on workload.



    A qualified Salesforce Analyst candidate will have analysis experience and, knowledge of Salesforce, reporting proficiency in Salesforce and strong MS Excel skills and be available for a 6-9 month contract. A fitting candidate will have a love for data and curiosity that spurs them to "dig deeper" into data and be able to build ad hoc reports. Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international organization.



    • Utilizes Salesforce to organize and analyze data to contribute to business intelligence.
    • Runs pre-built regular reports from Salesforce and exports to Excel, creating a presentable report with data that is easily understood and interpreted.
    • Creates ad hoc reports based on requested information about membership data and demographics.
    • Participates in recommendations for system improvement to enhance the capabilities of the Membership Development Department and its reporting responsibilities.
    • Analyzes data to help determine whether operations, processes and offerings meet the members’ needs and membership expectations.
    • Extracts data, quantifies and summarizes findings for internal stakeholders and tracks stakeholders’ action plans to address findings.
    • Organizes collected data, understands it, identifies additional data needs and prepares reports high-lighting member trends and statistics.
    • Ensures that findings are presented to internal clients and other stakeholders in a manner that maximizes understanding, credibility and use.
    • Participates in meetings with stakeholders to identify needs, share capabilities, best practices, and data findings based on results of analyses.
    • Work with departments to identify and standardize critical data elements that need to be captured



    • Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Salesforce with the ability to create ad hoc reports.
    • Must have strong proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to manipulate data and create advanced reports.
    • Strategic and critical thinker with a strong foundation in data analysis and market intelligence; ability to convert data into insights.
    • Strong analytical thinking, deduction capability and ability to interpret member needs.
    • Solid command of complex data and use of various methods of analysis.
    • Ability to present written and oral findings in an eloquent and concise manner.
    • Ability to meet critical deadlines and set priorities in a timely fashion.
    • Ability to successfully navigate in a high-paced, ambiguous and fluid environment while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and maintaining an exemplary degree of professionalism.




    • Must possess analytical skills and experience in creatively solving complicated problems in a corporate environment.
    • Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
    • Ability to produce advanced reports and analysis.
    • 1-2 years data analyst experience required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills and database management and mining.




    Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, economics, sciences or related field or equivalent work experience.

    Salesforce.com certification highly valued but not required.
